Ouri Karni

Scientist

Ouri has been a Research Scientist at NTT PHI Labs since January 2024, working on novel designs of nonlinear photonic devices with enhanced light-matter interactions. Ouri completed his undergraduate studies in both Physics and Electrical Engineering (2006), and his PhD in Electrical Engineering (2016) at The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Before joining NTT, Ouri worked as a post-doc and later as a research scientist at Stanford University, studying the physics of layered semiconductors using optical spectroscopy.
